Now a days Water pumping, distribution and monitoring is one of the major task for government. It is more difficult to control and monitor all the pumping station in the existing system. In existing system everything is manual which leads to no proper control over the pumping station. For example in a city or district it is never possible to know how many pumps are ON, How many have faults, how much water has been pumped etc. To overcome all these issues the following "GPRS based Automated water Distribution control and monitoring system" is proposed. In the proposed. In the proposed system it is possible to control and monitor all the pumping stations from a single computer. The pumping station could be switched ON/OFF, many parameters (Water flow, energy consumed to pump the water, voltage levels, Faults etc) can be monitored and recorded.
